Make Physical Activity a part of daily life

Up to a few years ago

  1. 6 out of 10 people over 15 in the EU seldom or never did exercise.

  2. Yearly in the WHO european region physical inactivity caused an estimated 1 million deaths

  3. WHO recommended 150mins of vigorous activity every week for adults

  4. At home this can include: gardening, cleaning and even stretching while watch television

  5. At work this can include walking more, using the stairs, going out for a walk at lunch time

  6. Leisure time can include cycling, walking, working in the community green spaces.

All of this will help with long term health as well as pain management. Regular physical activity enables people to live better and longer healthier lives.
